Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our privacy practices, cookie use, data rights, and terms of service.
We only collect information you voluntarily submit through our contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), your message, and any other details you choose to include. We do not collect special category data such as health information, religious beliefs, or political opinions.
We collect your information to receive and respond to your enquiry, keep a record of your request, send a confirmation email, and manage our customer communications. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests as an AI and data engineering consultancy. Where your enquiry relates to a potential contract, we may also process your data as necessary to take steps before entering into that contract.
As a general rule we retain contact-form enquiries for 12 months. We may keep them longer if required for legal, accounting, dispute resolution, or legitimate business reasons. You can ask us to delete your information sooner by contacting office@transformer.ie.
We do not sell your personal information. We use three trusted service providers to operate the website: Supabase (backend database and storage), Vercel (website hosting), and Resend (enquiry-related emails). These providers process data on our behalf only as necessary to deliver their services. We may also disclose information if required by law or court order.
We use minimal cookies. The only cookie currently in use is cf_clearance, set by Cloudflare for bot protection on the contact form. This is an essential cookie and does not require your consent. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or marketing cookies. If this changes we will update this policy and seek consent where required.
Depending on the circumstances you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, object to its use, or receive a portable copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at office@transformer.ie. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
Our Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
